Mississauga Fire - Pumper 122
Mississauga Fire & Emergency Services original Pumper 122.
Pumper 122 - 2003 Spartan Metro Star MFD / Smeal (1500/500/30F)
Taken: August 2003
History: This truck was originally assigned Pumper 122 when Station 122 opened up in August 2003. The truck was later reassigned Squad 107 in 200?. Then on May 20, 2005 the truck (Squad 107) was wrecked in a rollover accident while returning to quarters. MFES later sent the truck to their new dealer, Dependable Emergency Vehicles in Brampton, to have the truck refurbished. While the truck was in refurbishment, the fire department decided to go ahead and place an order for 2 new Seagrave Canada pumper rescues built on Spartan Metro Star LFD chassis. The new trucks arrived before the 2003 Spartan was fully repaired so when it returned, it was assigned as spare Squad 150 until 2007. That was when Squad 107 got a new 2007 Spartan / Dependable pumper rescue, 1 / 4 delivered. Squad 107's 2005 Spartan / Seagrave then became the spare squad and the now rebuilt 2003 Spartan / 2006 Dependable became Pumper 102.
